Centuries ago in the northern reaches of modern day Germany, a master league of brewers had so expertly honed their craft that Bavarian royalty spent decades trying to tempt away their superior method south to Munich. In 1612 they succeeded and it was that craftsmanship combined with Munich malts and traditions that produced the first doppelbock. This is our homage to those brewers of yore. A distinctive doppelbock, rich in malt and toasted caramel with hints of fig and plum. Our very own Northern Method.
