We brew our Pilsner with Wisconsin grown Czech-style hops and malted barley. Our brewers carefully lager it to obtain a clean malt flavor and crisp floral finish. We salute Wisconsin’s rich lagering tradition with our Potosi Czech Style Pilsner!
However, this style of beer is one of the hardest to brew. It takes skill and experience to nail the correct flavor profile. For Potosi, an added advantage is in the Wisconsin spring water. Above all, the spring water running through Potosi has a magnificent mineral profile. The water is the most abundant ingredient in our Czech Style Pilsner and therefore creates crispness, clarity, flavor, and stability to the taste. Because of this, we decided to create a special design to help tell our Czech Pils story. On every can and bottle of Potosi Czech Pilsner you will see the flowing water which shows how vital Potosi spring water is to our craft beer.
