National Brewery Museum

The National Brewery Museum™ is a joint venture between the Potosi Foundation and the American Breweriana Association who have teamed up to create a world class national brewery museum showcasing an eclectic collection of beer bottles and cans, glasses, trays, coasters, advertising materials and various other breweriana collectibles.
The National Brewery Museum™ is located within the historical Potosi Brewing Company building that originally operated from 1852 to 1972. The National Brewery Museum™ is open limited hours during the winter season. Please call 608-763-4002 for information.

-All-inclusive Potosi Brewery Production Facility & Museum tours with Potosi pint glass and beer samples: $13

Tours of the National Brewery and Transportation Museums are self-guided and include informational audio and video stations. Large group tours may be requested by calling 608-763-4002 ext. 109

American Breweriana Association (ABA)
The American Breweriana Association (ABA) is a non-profit, tax-exempt historical and educational group that was formed to preserve the history of brewing and brewery advertising. Members of the ABA share a passion for brewery history, as well as for collecting cans, bottles, labels, signs and other beer-related memorabilia.
With a membership to the American Breweriana Association you will receive a bi-monthly magazine of brewery history and advertising, the opportunity to receive free labels and coaster offerings with each issue, exchange services and access to the ABA Lending Library.

Port of Potosi Chapter of ABA
The Port of Potosi is the local chapter of the American Breweriana Association. The Port of Potosi Chapter is a non-profit organization created and dedicated to the following goals:
- Educate the public about America’s brewing heritage
- Unite brewery workers, historians and collectors
- Encourage preservation and collecting of brewing artifacts
- Raise awareness of the National Brewery Museum
A membership in The Port of Potosi Chapter is a small per year fee for a single or family membership. Members receive a regular newsletter containing updates on chapter meetings and events. Additionally, members gain access to breweriana collectors who buy, sell, and trade brewing advertising.
